I’ve always been a jack of all trades: someone who wanted to learn and do everything. As I got older, I also developed the burning desire to teach others what I’d learned.
The Book Against School is a non-fiction book I wrote and (self-)published in the Netherlands. It explains all the major shortcomings of our education system, but mostly gives tips on how to overcome those and actually make something of your life.
One day I received an email asking if I wanted to be a co-writer for an official book on programming video games.
A fellow student (at university) asked if someone knew anything about Wordpress. I responded that I knew quite a lot about websites in general, expecting a simple question that needed answering.
My (board)game work has, over the years, grown to be my main field of work. That’s why I’ve created a whole blog to talk about the development of these games and gaming in general.
